We don’t normally contact you if you have had any blood tests, xrays etc and the results are normal. If you would like to see your results then log on to the patient access app where they will be available for you to view. If you haven’t got access then please call the surgery on 01253 957555 and reception will advise you of the results.
General timescales for test results:
- X-ray – 2 weeks
- Blood test – 5 days
- Urine test – 5 days
- Smear test – Your results will be sent directly to you from the laboratory
Please note that, due to our strict policy regarding confidentiality and data protection, we will only give out results to the person they relate to unless that person has given prior permission for their release or if they are not capable of understanding them.
